Finally done with Women. Funny enough, thought not great literature.
I think some one I knew have read this book.
Bits and pieces fell in place.
I like reading Bukowski, but I think his novels are the weak part of his authorship. His short stories are great, and most of the poetry. During the Christmas holiday I also read his novel "Hollywood". A bit daft, but made me think of "The great rock'n roll swindle".
Also read "Come on in! New poems". Some wery well written poems. Some last famous words. And old mans self-knowledge, and some times the lack of self-knowledge. All those thing that make us human.
And I would like to say, with Bukowski's words:
I will never have
a house in the valley
with little stone men
on the lawn
